Hey Pete, want to learn how to include live HTML links to other sites? It's pretty easy, I've picked it up in the last week.
In order to not confuse the site, I'm going to replace all "<" with "[" and all ">" with "[". To actually make a link work, do the substitution.
If you wanted to put a live link to my site, you'd put something like this in one of your posts:
"...go to my friend Byron's [a href="http://nothing-new-under-the-sun.blogspot"]site[/a]..."
whatever you put after the href= (inside inverted commas) will be the site that is linked to. Whatever you put between [a href="..."] and [/a] will be the text that actually appears on your page and which, if people click it, will then link to the site indicated.
Hope that makes sense.
If you already know all this, then maybe it will be helpful for the young punters flowing through your site...
thanks byron. I'm not that into blogging yet. I really only wanted the account to be able to post comments on your blog. then for some reason I started uploading photos and files and posting random thoughts.
